Woke up at 6AM this morning to head over to SoHo for an Anthro meeting. I spoke a while back about how I was sort of promoted into this new program just for our district with a few other senior associates from the other stores, and today was my first time meeting with everyone! It was so fun to talk about Anthro and we did a couple of fun group activities to learn more about communication.
Then I jetted off to Long Island for a Delia*s shoot. Lauren was kind enough to send a car to pick me up at Anthro and drive me out there half way through the day, just so I could work. She’s amazing. And I felt totally fly in my gigantic leather seat, in a car just for me.
The shoot was…not glamorous, as per usual, but still fun. I’m always happy to be with Delia*s, no matter what the situation. It was a day full of hot, humid, sticky, dirty, muddy, fake snow-y, bug biting, horse poop avoiding-ness. And let’s be real, I love every second. It was my first shoot acting as a production assistant instead of a stylist assistant and I kind of loved it. Ya’ll know I’m sort of one of the guys at heart, and I definitely didn’t mind getting down and dirty today.
