Today was one of those days where I couldn’t help but think, “Damn. My life is awesome.”
I had an excellent night of sleep, woke up early (kind of had a fashion meltdown, but it happens). Just barely caught the bus and made it Spring Street in time to grab Starbucks and a Spinach Feta Wrap (basically what I eat every Monday/Wednesday when I’m in the office).
It was so great to see Annie and Nikki! I hadn’t seen them since I returned from Michigan. Ade brought in cupcakes for Annie’s promotion and Nikki told me all about her trip to Ireland. It was just one of those mornings where I felt like I really fit in and belonged and was really into everything I’m doing and working on.
Some days I’m like…what the hell am I doing with my life, but today I was like, I got this.
I also had a chance to catch up with Danielle and my mom, watch a couple episodes of How I Met Your Mother and now I’m off to the bar with Megan to see her friend’s band play.
Oh so happy today.
